It's getting more and more difficult to send out photos of the mess to everyone so I joined the "crowd" so to speak and started up a family blog. Our first adventure to post is our trip to the county fair in San Benito aka Hollister. We love the demolition derby. It is so primal. The idea of just ramming your car into somebody is somehow so gratifying. All the people in the stands hoot and holler at their favorite driver as they parade by just before the carnage. M played the part of the red-neck hottie very gracefully. She made sure her lipgloss was the same shade as her hat. E pretty much cared about the dipped ice cream cones we were going to get later on as well as the possibility of seeing one of the cows poo in their stall. As far as the boy, well as you can see his father allowed him to dress in his swimming trunks and aqua socks. Little S still enjoys the idea of not wearing underwear in public. Intermission was long between the series of cars entered in the derby so the kids expired early enough for us the visit the animals. I personally love the crazy chickens. The kids begged for a rabbit as usual. I had to remind them of the joy we are experiencing with the dog currently. And that rabbits bite even harder. They stopped asking. We ate plenty of junk to last us until next year, or maybe just until Halloween!
