E went on her first field trip of the year. I love 2nd grade! This year will be filled with lots of field trips. This begins their study of our local community. They will be holding a classroom fair at the end of the month. E has already asked me to make one of my huge apple pies for their contest. This county fair in Watsonville is so small town and cute. If you have read my previous blogs you know what a fan I am of county fairs, especially the San Benito County Fair coming this October.They had lots of fun cranking the grain mill and petting all the animals. The kids loved doing the pottery the most. And the day ended with everyone picking out a treat to eat. Mmm. Caramel apples and pink popcorn.
