The Boy's Cake

Tomorrow is his party and we all know how much he loves his video games. This was a pretty simple cake. It was just a square, rectangle, and a couple of cupcakes. I stressed more on the frosting recipe that I wasn't too happy with. I don't like buttercream. I'm more of a whipped cream person when it comes to cakes. But my favorite is caramel frosting. I use that one for banana cakes. mmm. Taking this photo was a feat in itself. What you can't see is the blessed dog on the right eyeing the cake. I'm trying to focus with the camera and I can hear her pulling on the tablecloth. She would just love to lick all that blue frosting, maybe tomorrow.
