The Day the Fuzz Came to Town.

Today was very bizarre. As I was walking to school, I noticed lots of fluffy white things floating through the air. It looked exactly like the down from baby birds. As I got towards the school the path became covered in this stuff. One of the houses up against the trail had it all over their lawn and bushes. Now it reminded me of soft snow. The wind blew again and then I saw tons of it blow out of a tree. I guess it is some kind of seeds from the tree. The kids could not stop themselves from touching it so I suggested we go home get baggies and of course the camera. S wants it for "show and tell" on friday and E told her siblings she can now make her own stuffed animals like "build a bear". What a cool day. In all the years I've lived here this has never happened. Which also reminds me of the crazy population of squirrels in my backyard. I'll have to take pictures of the new family of squirrels that drives my dog nuts too.
